Could Donaghadee Methodist be the church for you and your family?

In Northern Ireland the Methodist Church has long been a bridge-building church and a voice of moderation in Protestantism. It upholds traditional Christian values but does so in a gentle, not a strident way, emphasising the loving kindness of God rather than His judgement.

Donaghadee Methodist Church has particular strengths:

·         Clear, unequivocal preaching of the Word, both by the Minister and by experienced Local Preachers

·         A friendly and welcoming congregation

·         A strong Pastoral Team, visiting and caring for members who are ill or in hospital, or confined to their homes by reason of age, and

·         A monthly Lunch Club for older members

·         A lively interest in music as part of worship, comprising both the well loved traditional hymns and more modern praise songs

      ·         Comprehensive provision for children and young people, including:

o  Chatterbox - a Mums and Toddlers Club which meets every other Tuesday morning in term-time

o   The Workshop - a Sunday School for primary age children

o    'Juice' - a challenging class for older children

o   A company of the Girls' Brigade, for girls of all ages

·         A wide range of social and recreational activities, including quizzes, film showings and outings. There is an indoor bowls club, too, which meets with other churches.

If this is the sort of church you think you might like to belong to, please get in touch with the Minister, the Rev Ruth Craig, on 028 9188 3568 (, or simply drop in and speak to any of the church officers at the door.
We would love to welcome you.
